I’ve been in a fashion stand still all week waiting for the Grammys.
It never fails to give us some of the most daring styles and edgy outfits some
of our greatly creative celebs can think of, until now. I have to say, I was
really disappointed at the 2014 Grammy’s fashion. No one really went there.
Where was everyone’s fashion courage? Does no one remember Jennifer Lopez
Versace design sheer plunging dress for the 2000 Grammys or Toni Braxton 2001
white Richard Tyler dress? Hell, I would even have taken M.I.A 2009 weird sheer
polka-dot maternity outfit; something with some edge. So, I’ve decided that my picks for fav 2014
Grammys dresses will be gowns that peaked some interest and gave some sex appeal.
My favorite look for the night is Zendaya Coleman wearing an
Emanuel Ungaro black and baby blue shear dress. Zendaya got
it right from head to toe. The slick back hair, smokey eyes to the split giving
her a leggy appeal.
All my Project Runway fans must be
going as crazy as me for this gorgeous white lace gown design by Michael
Costello, worn by the Queen Bey (Beyonce) herself. Now this is what I was
looking for, this dress has sex appeal, it has edge, it has style. Thank
goodness someone got the memo.
Chrissy Teigen gave us some rocker glam in
this gold form fitting dress designed by Johanna Johnson. I really shouldn't be
surprise that she got it right, she always does.
It seems 2014 Grammys was the year of the
Red Dress so I pick the two that caught my eye. Pink in Johanna Johnson and
Tamar Braxton in our project runway all-star
Michael Costello. Both these ladies gave us some hot sugar with their dresses
hitting all the right spots.
Let me know what you think about my picks.
