"Wearable Friday" [What To Wear]

Hey everyone, it’s Friday again and we have a new challenge for you, Cardigans.  Yes, I know most of us have only one or two cardigans in our wardrobe and we are perfectly fine with that. But I believe the reasons for that is because we don’t really know what to do with our cardigans and let’s be honest we feel that only grandmas should wear them. So, I have taken this as a challenge to prove to you that cardigans should not only be a staple in your wardrobe but also very fashionable.

I think the best way for me to get you on board with Cardigans is to start off with the boyfriend style. These oversize chunk knit tops are my favorite. Truth be told there is nothing more fun than “borrowing” items from your boo, so find his deep V-neck cardigan or his button down version with two pockets in the front. Pair it with a white tee and jeans for a great relax and comfy casual weekend look.

Another way to style your cardigan is with a layered look.

Take a long cardigan wear it under a cropped jacket for a great winter trend. As a corporate look, take that same long length cardigan add with a button down shirt, a form fitting skirt and a thin belt. Now, if you switch out the long cardigan with a button up cardigan and switch the form fitting skirt with a form fitting cropped slacks you can have a nice preppy look. As you can see I can go on and on. There are now some many styles out there, color ones, floor length cardigan, you can also accessories your cardigan.

So, give a cardigan a try. It just might surprise you.

Cute Finds

Braving the shopping craze on Black Friday, one of my best friends and I found this really cute find. Jun & Ivy, Lucy Oxford Flats at Francesca’s Collection, which is apart of their new arrivals for $34.00. These flats can cute up just about any outfit.

You can make these poke a dot oxford shoes as the focal point of your outfit… pair them with a line skirt and a white button down.

Or make your outfit a little funkier with the zig zag striped oxford flats. Combine them with some red skinny jeans and a checkered boxy top.

For an easy day, wear your oxfords with some leggings or boyfriend jeans (roll up at the bottom). I am telling you, one really can’t go wrong with Oxfords.
